Billing and Insurance

We know how complex insurance coverage has become. We do expect payment from you for copays and non-covered services on the day of your visit. We do expect payment from your insurance plan within 90 days of the date of service. Any balances unpaid by your insurance in 90 days will be transferred to you for resolution. Unpaid patient balances after 90 days will be assessed a late fee. We hope this clarifies our policies and recommendations.

Our billing staff will assist you with all your insurance questions and we will submit claims to insurance when possible.

It is the patient’s responsibility to obtain all necessary referrals from their primary care physician if they have a managed care plan. We will be happy to bill your primary and secondary medical insurance plans. We will bill your primary vision insurance plan. We will coordinate benefits between your medical insurance plans and your vision plan if the plans allow. Secondary billing to a secondary vision plan will be the patient’s responsibility.

We are participating providers for many major medical plans and well as a number of vision plans. We will also assist with the claim filing for your reimbursement if we do not participate with your plan. This is a partial list of the plans we currently accept. Not all doctors participate in all plans. Please check with your individual carrier for your participating provider list and benefits.
